WHEAT FLOUR SAMOSA

Hello my dear food lovers, Welcome to Lakshmi Creations tv. These days I’m handling that tender Evening snack called Wheat flour Onion Samosa | Onion Samosa | Wheat Samosa with detailed explanation. This cooked onion samosa is prepared at home with homemade wheat pastry sheets and onion stuffing. It’s an ideal evening snack recipe, and it is very healthy prepared with wheat flour.

Initially, I believed in getting ready with the boughten pastry sheets. Later I decided to arrange homemade wheat flour pastry sheets that build a lot of healthy compared to boughten maida flour pastry sheets.

Wheat Flour Onion Samosa

Preparation time: thirty to 40 minutes

Cook time: ten to sixteen minutes

Total time: forty to 50 minutes

Course: Snacks

Cuisine: South Indian

Servings: 15 to twenty

Ingredients For Wheat Samosa:

For Stuffing:

  • Onions – 3
  • Green Chilly – 2 to 3
  • Poha – 2 to 3 tablespoons
  • Salt enough to taste
  • Turmeric powder – pinch
  • Red chilly powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Coriander powder – half tablespoon

For pastry sheets:

  • Wheat flour – one cup
  • Suji rava – 1 table spoon
  • Hot oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt enough to taste
  • Baking Soda – Pinch

Preparation to make Atta Samosa

For Stuffing:-

  • Take three onions, one potato, and two green chilies.
  • Cut it into small pieces.
  • After that, add two tablespoons of poha into the onion, potato pieces.
  • Add enough salt to taste, a pinch of turmeric powder, one tablespoon of red chili powder, and half a spoon of coriander powder into that stuffing.
  • Mix it well and keep it aside.

For Pastry Sheets:-

  • Take a bowl and add one cup of wheat flour, one to two tablespoons of Suji Rava, enough salt to taste, a pinch of baking soda, and mix it all.
  • After that, add one tablespoon of oil and mix it well without any lumps.
  • Further, combine it with water and prepare a dough.
  • Knead the dough for 10 minutes, and the dough must be smooth.
  • Next, start a roll with a rolling pin as thinly as possible.
  • After that, put the sheet on a hot Tawa pan and roast for just 10 seconds on both sides.
  • Then cut the edges with chalk and urge an ideal rectangle shape.

Wheat Samosa Folding Method:-

  • Firstly start folding the sheet into a triangle shape.
  • Further, fold three times, and the cone is formed.
  • Next, stuff the ready stuff the maximum amount as potential.
  • With the help of wheat flour or maida paste, apply over the ends of the samosa sheet.
  • Furthermore, deep fry into a medium-hot oil.
  • Fry on both sides till they turn a golden brown.
  • Finally, serve the onion samosa with tomato ketchup.
