Salt Biscuits Or Osmania Biscuits
Preparation Time: fifteen to eighteen minutes
Cook time: twenty to twenty-five minutes
Total time: forty to fifty minutes

Ingredients:-
- Maida or all-purpose flour – 2 cups
- Salt – one tablespoon
- Baking Soda – 1/4th tablespoon
- Dalda or butter -1/4th cup
- Sugar – half cup
- egg – 1
- Sand – 2 to 3 cups
Preparation:-
- Firstly take a bowl and add a pair of cups of Maida flour.
- Add one tablespoon of salt, 1/4th tablespoon of baking soda.
- Mix those all well.
- After that, take 1/4th cup of dalda or butter and warm it.
- Then add dalda and the quarter cup of oil into maida flour.
- Further, combine it well with no lumps.
- Next, take a mixer grinder, add a half cup of sugar and one egg, and grind it well; otherwise, you will use a mixer and mix it well with no lumps.
- Then combine this sugar mix into maida batter.
- And combine it well and press or knead it well.
- Take a plate and apply one spoon of oil or drawn butter and keep it aside.
- Further, make the dough into small balls.
- Take one ball, press it on your hands, and make a flat circle shape like a biscuit shape.
- Make it all.
- Keep those prepared dough biscuits on a plate.
- Take an oversized Kadai and put salt or sand into it.
- Put a stand in the sand.
- Keep that plate on the podium and boil it for twenty to twenty-five minutes on low flame only.
- If you have an oven, make it in the range conjointly.
- Finally, the biscuit is ready to serve as an evening snack with a cup of tea or coffee.
- Store it in an associate airtight instrument for two to three weeks.
